Game Info / Explanation

Using the data edit to play from the English level 10, set my past experiance to sunday league footballer, favorite team to Kingstonian & started off unemployed. As the title suggests, my aim is to go from the bottem to the top but being a big supporter of non leagie football & not so much of the professional game I aim to become a non league legend first (ala Geoff Chappell). I'm into my 3rd season but only noticed this story business & wanted to give it a crack! So enjoy & give feedback!

Introduction

It's Summer 2011 & rookie manager Paul Grundy is about to enter his 3rd season of football management, since July 2009 Grundy has been at the helm of Westfield FC, an amateur team based in Woking.

Grundy's first season was a learning curve, bringing in tallent, but due to the sides amateur status the talent was quickly picked off by other teams & Westfield found themselves finishing in mid table without excelling in any cups either.

Durin Summer 2010, Grundy put Westfields name on the local football map with the signings of out of favour Kingstonian players like striker Bobby Traynor & midfielder Tommy Williams. These signings were big names for a Combined Counties Division One side so big things were expected.

Grundy & his Westfield side lived up to expectations with a very successful 2010-11 season. Despite the usual exodous of talent in the Winter (including Traynor & Williams) Westfield managed to claim the league title on the last day of the season.

So here's where the story really starts... It's 2011-12 & Paul Grundy will be managing his Westfield side for the 3rd season running but for the first time in the Combined Counties League Premier Division.

Managerial Record:

2011/12 - Westfield (Combined Counties League Premier Division - 2nd/22 - Promoted after Play Offs)

2010/11 - Westfield (Combined Counties League Division One - 1st/21 - Promoted)

2009/10 - Westfield (Combined Counties League Division One - 14th/21)
