we finally made it
What size would you recommend? Just has a quick look on Amazon and can get screen's cheaper than listed - what am else am i looking for in terms of monitor specs other than size? I had taken the graphics card out and it was still in at that price - £515 for the base + Monitor, + Keyboard + Mouse = £633 i think... Also dont know if i'm being stupid but these look like similar specs including the memory card for £500? http://www.dell.com/uk/p/desktops?~ck=mn#!facets=70207~0~462580,40189~0~196670,40186~0~852691&p=
Ishu
That's because pcspecialist also take their cut out of your money. Also those Dells will probably have poorer mobos, case and psu. For monitors check out Dell U2311HM.

asdpoo
No and don't load really everything, because by the second season you will wait half a minute to process the day. Not to mention the initial set up of the database will take hours. What really matters is CPU and RAM and they surpassed what FM is capable of utilizing a couple of years ago. Bobo
30Don't buy this. Its outdated. Hey mate, thanks for the quick response. Sorry but I can't really understand what outdated refers to. Thing is, I'm from Malta and am on a budget of 600 Euro. I thought that a core i5 with 6gb RAM would be good, but it's a good thing I have experts like you advising me then By any chance, could you recommend something for me along that budget from www.scanmalta.com? I'm looking for a laptop for FM which I'd also take to college. Also, just for my personal knowledge, I'd really appreciate if you could better explain what outdated refers to in regards to laptops. Again, thanks for your time and expertise

Oh my, what a lovely gentleman to take your time browsing through that website for a stranger. I award you a crown Hehe thanks a billion. So, from those two, I assume I should go for the more expensive one, right? I will probably stretch it that far if it has better graphics. Also, would you recommend increasing it's RAM? Or is 4gb enough? Thanks again.

If you want it just for FM and college (nothing intensive like video etc), the cheaper one should be fine.
crouchaldinho
Ishu, my new PC arrived. It's amazing! Thanks for all of your help in picking it out. I have tested it on FM and I get 5 stars for performance and 3D. I can load a ton of leagues, which is amazing. I'm planning a big journeyman career for FM12! Also tested on Minecraft and I can max it out, so I'm extremely happy with that too. Not sure if I told you but in the end I went with the Intel Quad Core I5 2500 at 3.30GHz. I also went with the 8GB RAM and the NVidia Geforce GTS450. All in all, it's a superb machine and I'm delighted so far.

Halfpenny
Hey, I'm hopefully going to be getting a MacBook Air 13" in the next couple of weeks. I would just like to check however if the specs aren't good enough for playing FM12? I'd prefer to go for the Air because I'm going to be carrying it around a lot but if it's not good enough I'll just go for the Pro 13". Specs are: 1.7ghz Dual Core i5 4gb RAM 128gb SSD Intel HD 3000 Graphics.
