I give up...I haven't got a clue what the hell i'm doing.

1) download the DB from the link provided

2)Use winrar to "unzip" the file (you can get winrar from www.rarlab.com)

3)Unzip the file to C:\Users\(your pc username)\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\editor data

4) load the game

5)start new game when it comes up with what database to use tick the box that says something along the lines of "change database"

6) it will then take you to the edited DB files tick the box of the forbes database and click ok

7) load game as normal from here

Im having problems loading the update.

Gone through the run downs given and i cannot find editor data at all!!!

any solutions?

I'm having the same problem, i created an "editor data" folder that didn't work. I unticked the skin cache, ticked always load on confirm and ticked the change box that didn't work either. Is it different for steam users?

Basel have completed the transfer of defender Aleksandar Dragovic from Austria Vienna for an undisclosed fee. The Austrian international has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Swiss club.

Rubin Kazan have signed midfielder Petr Nemov from Saturn. The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year contract.

Just had a quick scan through the thread noticed some 'wrong' transfers being mentioned. Not sure if they've been picked up the author of the update.

Kelvin Wilson hasn't joined Celtic yet, but he will be doing at the end of the season.

Ayala hasn't signed for Derby on loan - he failed his medical.

Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo has signed an extension to his contract that will keep him with the club until 2015.

Midfielder Cani has penned a three-year contract extension at Villarreal, until June 2014.

Hearts have brought former Rangers defender Andy Webster back to the club on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Mainz have finally completed the signing of former Austria international Andreas Ivanschitz from Panathinaikos for £50,000 until June 2013.

Hoffenheim boss Marco Pezzaiuoli has signed a new contract which will keep him at Rhein-Neckar-Arena until 2014.

only issues for me would be finanaces apart from adding the latest transfers, blackburn need the chairman updating lady in charge the other two chicken farmers as directors but still need updated example sunderland have no money but should have the money from the bent deal, both tottenham budgets needs ammeding, villa wage budget as ireland has gone
