Sommerville27
Just started playing my edited database properly and I noticed that the training tab that is supposed to be alongside team etc. for the U-19s is missing. It still appears for teams in other leagues, it only seems to affect the teams in the new league setup I edited. Is there something wrong with the way I've setup the reserve/U-19s or is this a fault in the game?

Sommerville27
Right I have been doing some more testing and have found that the youth team is almost non-existent in some areas. first off here are some screenshots to illustrate the original problem I mentioned: 1. Normal game as it should be, notice the training option next to tactics just above the team list: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/6250/originalgame.jpg 2. game with new nation rules in effect and the training option is gone: http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/77/notraining.jpg Next I noticed that when I get to season update day, normally you receive the message about the intake of youth players like in this screenshot: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/9370/idealo.jpg but as you'll notice in this screenshot, the button in the bottom right of the screen that should say youth team is now blank and when clicked does nothing: http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/1282/issue.jpg I have also noticed that the youth players that come in when the xml file is running are all about 19/20 years old, no players below the age of 17/18 come through, yet when running the game with the same team without the xmls running players of 15/16 are the usual ages that come through. I am finding that this issue only occurs for custom leagues that have been started from scratch i.e. creating new league structures rather than ones where lower divisions/cups have been added to an existing structure. If the mods wish me to upload to the ftp then i'll do so on their request.
Herter
I had the same problem with my youths.. I solved it by ticking the "Youth player min age" and the "Youth contract max age".. min age was set to 14 and max age to 19.. try that..
Herter
btw its located under "nation rules" -> "general" -> "transfer rules"
