Chalk NCFC
I'm managing Norwich and recently tryed to sign a player who was a fee agent. I offered him a contract but because i was over my overall wage budget his agent wouldnt accept and ended the discussions. I have now reduced my wage bill to a level where i can easily afford the proposed wages and the player is still a free agent and willing to sign but when i go to offer a contract the agent says, "my client is not currently prepared to restart theses negotiations following breakdown in our previous talks. (or something like that). Anyway my question is does anybody know how long i have to wait for the agent to allow me to offer a contract again? Or is there any other way round this? Thanks. brom12
I had the same problem with Dida. I took him on trial and then tried to offer him a contract and his agent was willing to negotiate again.
