In FM10 (playing fm11 now) i would always get the suggestion from my ass man that i should close down players like Xavi. Isn't that wrong? Shouldn't players like Xavi who are great at passing and slow be tight marked? In RL slow players are easy to tight mark. A fast player would be difficult to tight mark. Also tight marking and closing down strikers. lets say if i'm playing against 2 strikers. One is a great finisher with a lot of pace. The other is slow but has great creativity, passing and long shots. He plays a bit deeper. What i always done is play my CB who has higher closing down to tight mark the other guy and my CB who has less closing down to close down the fast striker. Who's right?
