stevedaytona
Playing as Burnley, Chris McCann has a long term injury (cruciate ligament, I think) at the start of the game. I keep an eye on him and eventually he comes back in early January. I put him on the subs bench and bring him on for 15 minutes. Then, I make him available for the next reserve game. He plays in the reserve game and he gets another injury - out for 4 months (May 2011). Did I rush him back too soon or is he just injury prone? His contract is up at the end of the season and it's doubtful he is going to be back before the league ends. Do you renew his contract and hope he'll recover 100% for next season or give up on him at this point?
SWaRFeGa
Do you remember what % his condition was when you started him? In this situation - I find it best to just give players 15-20 mins at the end of a game, rather than starting them.

Don't remember exactly but it was over 90% - he was over that when I played him at the end of the game as well. Obviously, he was lacking match fitness so that is why I made him available for the reserves.
