An issue im having with players roles, can something be done??

Im currently managing Spurs, and something ive noticed now for the last 3 years since ive been buying FM is a little annoying for me.

I create my tactics based on my best 11 players.I play Van Der Vaart as an AMC and as his Long Shots have a rating of 19 i obviously set his long shots to often.

Then a few other things i set are i let him Roam from his position often and set his tackling to easy as his Tackling rating is 8

However if i then sub him for another player whos Long Shots are say 5 and Tackling 15 i then have to adjust every setting like change Long Shorts to Rarely and so on.

This in my opinion can take alot of time especially if i make 3 subs every game.

Would it not be possible to set every players setting before a match and that way i wouldnt have to keep changing things, instead of just setting the starting 11
