He's been a brilliant buy and as a bonus he is now Italian with 5 caps to his name He's fast, got a good leap on him, and a very smart defender with 19 for anticipation, 18 for marking and 18 for positioning. His tackling is a sadly low 12 but it's never really been an issue for me, he wins about 70% of attempled tackles and wins 83% of contested headers. Basically, his pace and strong defensive mentals make him a great buy. As a bonus he chips in with a couple of goals from corners every season - he got 5 last year!
