Tubey84
like the players do I don't think so. At least I've never noticed it. What does happen though is that your reputation within that nation goes sky high which allows you to manage that nation if you do really well. It did in FM10 anyway. Gribster
i dont think so, theres no benefit to you having another nationality like there is for players (to get around forgein limits or play for another contry etc) you learn the language and increase the countrys knowledge(scouting) thats as much as you need
FrazT
like the players do Is this a question for real life rather than FM?

FrazT
I dont think I have ever seen a manager take another nationality in the game, although they regularly can become fluent in the language.

Kenco
Is this a question for real life rather than FM? That's an interesting point. Could somebody like Arsene Wenger take on British nationality and be eligible for the New Year's honours list?
santy001
That's an interesting point. Yes he could be given the honour of most rubbish spouted about his team
Nik_Dut
this should be easy to implement in the game. will be a nice addition to 11.3....
BenArsenal
That's an interesting point. Could somebody like Arsene Wenger take on British nationality and be eligible for the New Year's honours list? Doubtful. He would have to renounce his French nationality I reckon. I don't think he would ever do that. He does have an honorary knighthood, mind.
trekman
I dont think I have ever seen a manager take another nationality in the game, although they regularly can become fluent in the language. It doesnt really matter I suppose but when starting a new game I always give myself dual nationality because I think (although I might be wrong) it helps with the language situation when moving from nation to nation. I pick swiss as a second nation and as a result I can speak English(my first language), French, German & Italian.
