Scalamunger
Feels like a bit of a noob question but I have just gotten a brand new PC with 3gb Ram which is less than i wanted but it can be expanded to 8gb, I am already ordering another 2gb to go straight into the machine, my question is will this extra RAM allow for even more players to be loaded and maintain a 4 or 5 star Game speed? busngabb
Probably. Processor is probably most important in terms of game speed. Memory will back this up, but 3gb would have been fine. I find that the game plays absolutely fine with 2 or 3 stars on the performance indicator. I don't think that element of the game is very sophisticated to be honest as I've played on systems with half or one star indicated and they have run the game perfectly fine. underwater sunlight
iirc as FM is a 32-bit game it can only utilise 4gb of RAM as it is the limit of 32-bit processing (i'm sure someone with more technological knowledge can elaborate on this or shoot me down if i'm wrong) but having more RAM will improve performances in general
