The group stage has 2 groups each with 6 teams, with 4 teams from each group advancing to the quarterfinals. I want the winner of each group to play the 4th placed from the other group in the quarters, and the 2nd placed to play the 3rd placed from the other group. Seems like a completely logical playoff format to me, but I can't get it working. Right now the quarterfinals look more like a random draw. How can I make the group winners play the 4th placed from the other group, etc.? Also, in the semis, I want the group winner (if advanced to the semis) to play the runner up from the other group (if advanced to the semis), so the two group winners wont clash in the semifinals.
