CGE97 Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Qhen I play 5-3-1-1 I have a stopper and 2 on cover which works fairly well, however if I were to play with 4 defenders (2 central) should I have a stopper and a cover or would that not work as they would be well away from each other ?? what roles should I use with only 2 cbs ? cdleedsfan Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Depends who you have at the back - If you have 2 well rounded defenders, make them both Centre Backs, Defensive and they'll work as a unit and can play the offside trap if need be. If you have one good defender in the air and one fast defender, the stopper/cover combo will work well (Like Rio and Terry for England) If you're lower league management, you'll probably have 2 big defenders and therefore 2 Limited Defenders would be ideal as you'll be coming up against the long ball more often than not Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
