atearthatearth
I was just wondering about Current Ability and Potential Ability Say I had two players Player A CA = 150 PA = 200 Player B CA = 160 PA = 200 So does it really matter what there CA is if both players have 200 PA? I mean with training and matches they can both reach 200 right?
Ackter
No. What matters is their attributes - are they in the best places for the role you want them to perform? Player B is currently the better player if both have good attribute spreads, but both have the potential to be equally as good.
Some Guy!
Don't fall into the CA/PA trap. If you have two players, Chappy with CA/PA of 140/160 and Bloke with CA/PA of 120/140, you can't say for certain that Chappy is a better player than Bloke on CA/PA alone and you can't say at full potential either. CA and PA don't matter at all to the player, just worry about how good (how they are distributed) and not just the value of CA/PA. Also, you're not meant to see the CA/PA anyhow... atearthatearth
Cool, so as long as I found players with great PA and train them and give them matches, their CA can come close to being the same as their PA.
