ellandroader82
Hello all, The best save I have had on FM11 was my Palermo save. Though I do not know the Italian league too well, I built up a pretty good save with these guys, culminating in winning Serie A and getting into the Champions League. It took a while and I had to rebuild the squad several times with the players I needed to make my plan work. Anyhow, the English league doesn't interest me right now and I am looking for another continental team to take on - decent youth, not necessarily a lot of money or big stadium but with the potential to break into the Champions League and enough time to use a couple of seasons to build. A "project" if you like. Any recommendations? Cheers!
SWaRFeGa
The use of "Continental" with "Champions League" is a little confusing, but I will suggest Ajax anyway. Fallen giant. Decent youth, rather than great youth these days.
ellandroader82
Ahh, I see what you mean. Sorry, I meant something other than the English league, out on the continent! Ajax are decent, thanks for the shout.
rancer890
Zenit and Shakhtar are interesting clubs you can try to manage. They have foreigner restrictions though.
Sikker
Many French clubs could be interesting to you. Most French clubs have a good youth setup. Paris SG is similar to Palermo - not a top team but close. They have up and coming players. Paris SG are very similar to Ajax as well, but the French league is tougher than the Dutch. av3ry
Feyenoord, fallen giant. Good youth system I think. Could try bringing the European Cup back to Rotterdam.
