2017 Season

Campeonato Paulista - An epic state championship for us as we strolled through the league section only dropping points once as we drew 1-1 with Palmeiras at home, epic results included a 7-0 thrashing of Santo Andre a 402 win over Santos and a 3-2 win over Sao Paulo. And we won the League stage by 3 points over Santos and we had qualified for the Play-offs with about 7 games to go, Well into the Quarter finals of the play-offs we went and the opposition wasn't much in front of us as we beat Ponte Preta With ease before we beat Palmeiras in the semis to set up a final with Santos, we won the home leg 4-1 but lost the away leg three nil as we were outplayed but still managed to win the final not quite sure hour if I'm honest.

Brasileirao - Well after such a close run thing last season we finally managed to go the distance this year however it started badly as internacional smashed us 6-1 in the opening game of the season but we recovered to surge to the top of the table, and its where we stayed throughout the rest of the season, despite us doing everything humanly possible to not win the league by losing games at the end of the season against the sides chasing us we managed to hang on for dear life and seal the title with one league game left to go.

Copa sudamericana- Well because i went out of the Libertadores i was dumped in the Sudamericana again and we started well beating Peruvian side Alianza 4-1 on aggregate as we won both legs 2-1, in the next round we met Argentineans Rosario again but this time we play out a mad 5-5 draw in Rosario before we got a 1-0 win at home to send us into the semis to play Internacional a 6-3 win on aggregate saw us into the two leg final with River.

Copa Libertadores - a relatively straight forward group, as we took on Rosario Central Universitario and Oriente, we went down 3-2 in the opener v Rosario Central before winning the rest of the games finishing with a 7-0 win over Rosario Central, It made us qualify by winning the group 2 points clear of Rosario and a full nine points clear of third placed Universitario. Into the 2nd Round we took on Nacional, and a late goal left us with a 1-1 draw in the first leg away from home, before we went down 1-0 at home to go crashing out,

Top scorer - Not as many as last year but still comfortably my top scorer as i managed to hold onto him despite some clubs wanting to sign him he stayed in Brazil

Top player 2- The right back has come to the fore this season, as he sealed that slot as his own,

Top player 3- Injured for the last few weeks but still at the club and still doing the business with the goals and flowing nicely.

The Sudamericana and Libertadores I get...it's just the Campeonato Paulista and the Brasileirao I don't get...which is why I probably have never played in Brazil. I've had an Argentinian save before which I loved, are the Brazilian leagues similar to that?

nope the Brasilario is like the standard league 38 league games played, but we have the paulista is just a league competition for that region to me its the equivalent of playing a league with just the London based clubs for the league proper starts

ok i feel slightly guilty, my FM 11 crashed and i had to go back to a save in the original save i had crashed out of the state championships, but on replaying it i went through, i also replayed it a couple of times, and won every time.

2018 Season

Campeonato Paulista - Well this started off as a very crazy tournament as we scored on average 4 goals per game for the first 7 games of the championship, as we only failed to get maximum points once in the league stage as we went down 4-1 to Santos, however we picked ourselves up and carried on our impressive record we even notched three, 7 goal wins with two of those back to back as we strolled into the play-offs again this season, in the quarter finals we breezed past ituano by 6-1 in the quarters before narrowly beating Palmeiras 2-1 in the semis the first leg of the final against Santos finished 3-3 but we managed to get to the title as we won 1-0 in the second leg.

Brasileirao - Well we opened the Serie A off with a 8-1 win over Portuguesa we did well in general through the league games but we did go down a few times to the bigger sides for instance we lost 4-1 to Fluminense we also went down to Gremio, Santos and Vitoria but we did consistently beat the sides below us to be around the top until we hit the summit in the 14th match and its where we stayed till the end of the season and we claimed our second Serie A title and my last Brazilian title as I'm moving at the end of the season.

Copa Libertadores - Well we went into the Libertadores with high hopes, and a group containing Sao Paulo, Universitario of Argentina and Universitario de Sucre of Bolivia I was confident id make the next round with ease, We managed to lose three games but still qualify by finishing second, after wins at home against the Argentineans and Bolivians, away wins in Argentina got us into round two, where we beat Atletico Mineiro on away goals, before narrowly edging Estudiantes after that it was relatively easy as we bear Universidad Catolica 9-1 on aggregate before beating Gimnasia 4-0 in both legs to seal the trophy.

Top scorer - Again Adaliton smashed home plenty of goals with ease as he was my top scorer and also the league's top scorer he's at his turning point i feel and he will be getting worse from now on in.

Top player 2- Giuliano, again one of the top three performers with nearly 30 assists in the league competitions, I feel if I leave the club will no longer be able to keep him

Top player 3- The centre back was a star this season before the club allowed him to move on at the end of the season I don't mind as he's 32 and I don't see what else he can offer any club at that age

Step Seven: Croatia

Hajduk Split

HNK Hajduk Split, commonly referred to as Hajduk Split or simply Hajduk, is a Croatian football club founded in 1911 and based in the city of Split. The club's home ground since 1979 is the 35,000-seater Poljud Stadium and the team's traditional home colours are white shirts with blue shorts and socks. The club's main rivals are Dinamo Zagreb, and a match between the two is referred to as the "Eternal Derby".

Between the early 1920s and 1940 Hajduk regularly participated in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia national championship. Following World War II and the formation of the Yugoslav league system in 1946 Hajduk went on to spend the entire SFR Yugoslavia period in top level. Their run continued following the breakup of Yugoslavia as the club joined the Croatian First League in its inaugural season in 1992. They are one of the most successful teams in Croatia and ex-Yugoslavia, having won nine Yugoslav and six Croatian league championships, in addition to nine Yugoslav and five Croatian cup titles.

The club have only managed one title, since 2004 and need to turn things around last season finishing 2nd In europe they are average in both competitions regularly bombing in the champions league and then not getting much further in the Europa league.

Well im finally in Europe, not sure on my plan now i suppose work round some of the smaller leagues then try and progress up a bigger league

2019 Season

Prva HNL ozujsko - Well I took over with 15 games remaining in the league with the club languishing in mid-table I knew there was a lot of work to do and I felt this would be a decent challenge, and what a run I had in charge this season as we remained unbeaten till the end with only three draws and the rest taking maximum points.

It's a weird on this I think it might be a bug or two but the league has 33 league games in it, there's 22 scheduled then when the 22nd is played the last 11 are scheduled, and despite finishing 3rd I've been declared league champions only thing I can think of is because of the unbeaten run in those last 11 games.

Step Eight: Northern Ireland!

1284.png

Linfield F.C. (full name Linfield Football & Athletic Club), is a semi-professional, Northern Irish football club, whose home ground is Windsor Park in Belfast, which is also the home of the Northern Ireland international team.

Linfield play in the IFA Premiership (still popularly referred to as the Irish League) the second-oldest national league in the world after the Football League in England.

Linfield have won the League title a record 50 times, since the 1890–1891 season when they became the first ever champions of the League. They are one of four clubs who have retained membership of the League since its formation in 1890, the others being Glentoran, Cliftonville and Lisburn Distillery. Linfield's main rivals are Glentoran who play at the Oval in East Belfast.

in the past decade they have won 8 Carnegie Premier league titles but failed to make it past the third qualifying phase of the champions league, then going out in the Europa every league.

My aim is to stay AT LEAST five seasons as i want to make the champions league group stage before moving on.

That was a quick stop off in Croatia! I'm presuming you moved on because of that bug you mentioned?

I've had previous saves in both Croatia and Northern Ireland and enjoyed both of them, I've no doubt you will too. You certainly have moved around during this save; what has been your most enjoyable league/club so far?

2020 Season

Premier League - Well what a season I think we hit about 18 or 19 games before we even dropped points but we did have a poor run after that, we even lost 4-1 to Portadown which kicked off a run of 2 wins in 6 as we failed to pick up maximum points against some of the smaller sides in the league we then went on a run before the split with back to back 3-1 defeats to Glentoran and Dungannon which was frustrating but the split had us playing against a few of the top half sides and we remained unbeaten to the end of the season even picking up a record amount of points in the league

CIS Cup - This was a struggle from the start as we only managed to get into the 3rd round after extra time against Loughgall 3-2, before Glenavon beat us 2-1 at home as we dropped out of the cup

Co. Antrim Shield - Well we started the competition with a bit of a hiccup as we beat Killyleagh of the 1st division by 2 goals to 1 before we really put Glentoran to the sword as we smashed in 7 goals without reply at The Oval in Belfast before Dundela got a shock 1-0 win in the semi final to see us crash out.

Irish Cup - another cup another disappointing end as we made hard work of it all, we drew 2-2 in round f with Glebe before advancing after a replay win, we narrowly won in round 5 with a 1-0 win over Limavady before a 2-2 draw in the Quarter finals, then lost 3-2 in the replay to Clintonville

Setanta Cup - Well the All-Ireland cup was going to be a good challenge but Shelbourne managed to pull a draw out of the bag south of the border before beating us 2-1 at Windsor park in a disappointing game.

Champions League - A disappointing attempt in my first year as we bombed at the first hurdle, as CSKA Sofia beat us narrowly at home before demolishing us away and we didn't get a crack at the Europa as we bombed too early.

Top scorer - Top scorer by a country mile and with only 23 we are short on goals so i need to address that as we need goals to win the cups.

Top player 2- Hes one of the best players stats wise in my squad and is easily the best player in the league he just needs to improve a bit consistency wide.

2021 Season

Premier League - Well the league season wasn't as good as I expected don't let the 12 points fool anyone at one point we were only 2 points clear as we drew a lot of games in the middle of the season, it's good to know our side can score the goals but also keep them out, Glentoran were the biggest challengers to us this year as they were second for the majority of the season and beat us twice in the league I'm looking to raid their side for a few players though as they can score a fair amount of goals themselves. well onwards to next season and another league title is expected.

CIS Cup - Well a cracking cup run for us this time as we were forced to go to extra time to get over the first hurdle at Portadown, but once we did that it was plain sailing as we eased past Moyola, then edge past Dungannon in the Quarter finals, before edging the game with Cliftonville to set up the final with Limavady.

Co. Antrim Shield - A Great run but it had a disappointing end, in the 1st round we smashed Bangor at home before putting four past Ballyclare, Larne were also no match for us as we eased into the final with confidence only for First division side Wakehurst beating us in the Final.

Irish Cup -Again we ran another cup final to the end as we showed we are one of if not the biggest club in Northern Ireland, we breezed past the 4th round against Annagh, then Donegal Celtic were smashed, before back to back 3-0 wins sent us into the final against Portadown.

Setanta Cup - Well last years league runners up in the League of Ireland were again our opponents and this time despite losing 1-0 south of the border we made it to the semi finals after a 3-0 win at home, again we were good at home but poor on the road, against Crusaders.

Champions League - there's no words to describe this check the image :)

Top scorer - Well Dicks only narrowly claimed the top scorer award after notching three goals more than his closest challenger hoping

Top player 2- The Centre back again was the star of the defence as he was an absolute rock and will continue to be the star of my defence unless my club rep has gone up

Top player 3- The versatile full back is another main player for me but not sure if i can hang onto him as Aberdeen are sniffing round.

Another great season acidmonkey . No plans to move on just yet then? I had a little recap and got confused (I know it doesn't take much :D); post #133 says season 18 but in fact it's season 20. Sorry, pedantic mode over ;). Just thought you might want to change it to avoid any confusion for other readers.
