I have run an online game for the last few months and connection has been very successful. However my ISP doesnt issue me with a static external IP address. Therefore whenever the router gets rebooted the IP address changes. Did some digging on how to stop my fm colleagues having a huge list of IP address's in the history and also me having to text out whenever the IP address changes and found that dynamic DNS is the solution. I have registered with dyndns.org and can ping my dyndns name and it replies with the router IP address but whenever I try to connect to my network game i cant. I can connect using the IP address but not using my dyndns name. It comes up with an error saying cannot find server. Have checked the router logs and it hasnt tried to connect.
