Fløy was second when I faced them. Proud of that match, good way to move back into second. My next match is against Ålgård, the biggest match of the season. It's away, but last time I beat them 4-0. Hope to do the same this time.

Possibly the largest game of the season. We have won it from a header by Kenneth Ness (YP4). Who else? If we win the next three matches against Pors, Staal, and Mandalskameratene, we will be promoted.

Here's the goal if anybody cares to look. I'm going to bed now. I'll finish the season and post tomorrow morning. (Central Standard Time)

Season 2 Review

SK_Vard_Haugesund-logo-78EB4F9FAC-seeklogo.com.gif

Team

Media Prediction - 4th

Final Position - 3rd

Board Takeover - No

Expectations - Top Half Finish

Stadium Construction - Yes

Season's Best Players

Helge Sandvik - 13 clean sheets this season. Even better then last season! Great work by our GK.

Alexander Stølås - Was good this season. 7 goals, 9 assists. Great stats from a great player.

Kenneth Ness (YP4) - Probably the best player of all this season. Scored 12 and made 8 assists. Definitely would have won the golden boot if he wasn't injured for so long. He was one goal off it.

Youth

Kjetil Andersen (YP1) - He came off the bench only four times this season and netted us two goals. Much like a super sub if you ask me.

Erik Karlsrud (YP2) - Wasn't amazing by any means. Still couldn't grab that goal and his average rating was poor.

Trond Misje (YP3) - Had a few starts when Ness was injured and also came off the bench a few times. Had a goal and 3 assists, but nearly every time I watched him play he gave away the ball. Didn't look very sharp this season.

Kenneth Ness (YP4) - Was amazing this season. As I said earlier, he scored 12 goals and made 8 assists. Probably our best.

Morten Krohn Haaland (YP5) - Came on a few times for us. Can't say I saw much of him.

Dag Vidar Hammari (YP6) - Didn't use him once this season. Seems like he performed well for the U19s though.

This season I could really use a central midfielder or two. We were constantly having to put Causevic in that position, and he didn't perform very well in it. A central defender would be nice too.

A good season, even though you did not go up. It is really hard with only the one promotion spot. Perhaps you'll be able to build an even better team, so that you're better equipped for life in the First Division. ;)

I was thinking the same thing :p. Just got my youth though. One player that's 1.5 stars and the rest are nothing. I think I'll just try to develop Kenneth and the other youths at the moment.

Reallt unlucky. But I think you have good players and next season you will do it. The challenge in Norway is when you get promoted from second division you going right to the next highest level, and that is quite a leap. So the team better be ready for the challenges.

Amusing to see that it is Fløy who went up. The are located in my city, have a rich uncle that sponsor them, get a lot of retiring players from Start Kristiansand and always falter at the end of the season.

Keep it going. You are doing really well.

Pre-Season Update

Media Prediction - 4th

Expectations - Top-Half Finish

Wage Budget - $5,500 p/w

Wage Expenses - $5,226 p/w

Youth Team

Best Players at the Club

Alexander Stølås - He's coming off another great season. Hope he can keep it up.

Heige Sandvik - Maybe he'll do even better this season.

Kenneth Ness (YP4) - Scored a lot of goals and assists last season. Hope he'll be as dominant as last year.

Youth Prospects - Season 3

I was really hoping for a midfielder to come through this year, but that didn't happen. We got another DR that has. 2.5 star potential. His potential really increased, as when I first got the message, it was 1.5 stars.

Vegard Simenstad (YP7) (DCR/DM/MCR) - Report - Slow, his tackling seems to be his highlight. I'm not sure where I'd use him if I ever do. So many positions he's already trained in.

Friendlies

Bærum 1-2 Vard

KFUM Oslo 1-1 Vard

Vard 1-1p Ørn Horten

Vard 1-0e Ålgård

Some good results. I'm predicting a good start to the season :).
