däkkä Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Will be interesting to see how the midfield duo will be set up. I assume Conte will be using Vidal alongside Pirlo. With two forwards (Matri, Del Piero), an inside forward (Vucinic) and a winger (Krasic), they will need a cautious pairing in the middle of the pitch, but there are plenty of possible roles for the two. Pirlo - deep-lying playmaker / def Vidal - box-to-box / sup Pirlo - centre midfield / sup Vidal - ball-winner / def etc. Haven't seem them play but am definitely going to as soon as possible. Shake Appeal Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 He's likely going to use Vucinic as a proper forward more often than not; Marotta is still buying for the left wing position (Giaccherini was just bought, and there will probable be another player). Although the only game Vidal has started, he played on the wing. :confused: Of course, Conte should be playing a 4-3-3 with the personnel he has, but he doesn't post here so I can't tell him that.
