The club was founded in 1881 and became professional in 1937. This was after clubs Sporting Club de la Bastidenne and Club Deportivo Espagnol de Bordeaux had come and gone, as well as their offspring, FC Hispano-Bastidenne. They decided to rest two seasons before becoming professional. The club plays the home-matches in the Stade Chaban Delmas, named after the former mayor of Bordeaux, Jacques Chaban-Delmas. Transfers in: - Vladimir Koryt'ko from Czornomoriec £1,5M (Great AMC for Ligue 1 check him out !) - Nicolae Dica from Steaua £1,5M - Mame Biram Diouf from Molde £50k - Andrey Arshavin from Zenit £6,25M Total: £9,25M Transfers out: - Gabriel Obertan to Lille £1,8M (I know he's good but I'm not using wingers...) - Jussie to Rennes £1,8M Total: £3,6M The transfer window isnt over, and I'm trying to sell Alonso. Olympique Marseille bought Diego from Werder for £17M which amazed me a lot! Lyon bought Pandev for £13M. I played the first game in the season against ... Lyon but I've won it 4-2 !! Chamakh scored a hat-trick and Planus scored one too, great game by my players, Arshavin got 3 assists. Great game vs the best team in the league. After 8 games I'm first with 6wins 2 draws, one point clear of Lyon (6win 1 draw 1 lose) Chamakh after 8games scored 10 goals , great striker Arshavin in 8 games scored 2 and got 8assists. Would be nice If I the table would stay like this till the end but we will see. In the first round of UEFA cup I'll play against Buducnost so it will be an easy way.
