Ruthless Scot
Hi, first time poster here. I seen a thread earlier that was asking about the problem of the Editor crashing on launch, with the message coming up 'Editor 2012 has stopped working'. The response to this was to delete the cache files, and this seemed to have worked for said poster. However, when I went open the Editor in my documents, there is absolutely nothing there. I've made sure that hidden files are no longer hidden, and the Editor folder is still empty. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Rekoil
Hi there, you say that you went to 'my documents' to open the editor. The actual exe for the FM12 editor isn't kept there though, it's kept in your steamapps folder. Have you actually downloaded the editor yet? This year you have to download it seperately, it doesn't automatically come with the main game. If you haven't, take a peek at the sticky at the top of the forum. Good luck! Ruthless Scot
Thanks for the reply! Ah ok, then where is the steamapps folder..? Erm, yeah the Editor is downloaded. I bought the physical copy of the game, so it was installed with that, it's in my Steam account as well, and 'Ready to play'.
