manager2010
Does anybody know how to manually edit the unique ids of clubs? Got 2 competitions with some clubs with the same id's and it seems like a simple fix. Thanks!
phnompenhandy
Don't quote me, but I think the random UID feature is there to resolve UID conflicts, such as if you add a data edit file to the main database.
manager2010
Thats what I thought as well but loading the two compeitions at the same time doesn't work? what else could be conflicting?
Unknown Hacker
Thats what I thought as well but loading the two compeitions at the same time doesn't work? what else could be conflicting? In what way doesn't it work? It can't be to do with the UIDs.
manager2010
Getting the error could not process rule group settings in C:....etc, Netherlands KNVB Amateur Beker - too many teams (14) requested from Dutch hoofdklasse zondag A (13). Happendds when I load this Dutch file with a Malta file. Maybe I'm wrong but I did check the editor and a few clubs have the same ID's. Could possibly be a competition conflict. Unknown Hacker
Have you checked that the correct number of teams are in each of the divisions? Because that strikes me as being the problem. Does the Dutch file work on its own?
manager2010
Got some advice to switch up the order in which each one loads...and oddly it worked. Just don't see how that would make a huge difference Both leagues work on their own and with other downloaded leagues as well.
manager2010
what do you think the problem was?
manager2010
Ugh just tryed the Netherlands file with the Anguilla one on this site, same problem. Trying to pinpoint any errors but other than the same id's(which you said shouldn't be a problem), I couldn't find any others.

Nildo7
Has this been fully addressed? Only being able to load one .xml file at a time is hugely restricting when you're looking to play somewhere like Africa. It's taken a massive amount of enjoyment away from the game. Does anyone know if this issue is likely to be fixed in the future? Because it hasn't always been like this.
Visitor13
Is it really the case that you can't load more than one xml file at a time in FM12?

sammyt93
not sure whether this would have an effect or not but have you made sure there is the right number of teams on both databases and not just the netherlands one.
Nildo7
Is it really the case that you can't load more than one xml file at a time in FM12? It would seem that way. They will work fine if the competitions are already in the database. The problem comes when you create competitions in the editor. If two people create an .xml file and create competitions, the first competition created is given a Unique ID number of 1000000026 (or thereabouts). When you load those two different .xmls, these Unique ID numbers clash. They never used to, as I say. But since the last patch of FM11 this has been the case. Visitor13
^ Is this a problem only with third-party competitions, or with any kind of third-party databases as well? Any idea if two databases only with e.g. additional players will clash? I don't have FM12, so I can't check for myself.
nine_iron
I don't think third party is the right term here, I prefer "community created content"
Visitor13
Ok, fair enough, community created competitions/databases.
nine_iron
Ok, fair enough, community created competitions/databases. Just a personal preference of mine, I think it has a nice ring to it User generated/community created content is becoming a big selling point for many games and SI are really leading the way in sports games with the progress they are making in the editor. I would PM Unknown Hacker as he has fixed this sort of problem for other people before. He is on frequently enough but may not have seen this thread as the title may not have drawn his attention. Visitor13
It seems like there's a solution: http://www.thedugout.net/community/showpost.php?p=3403690&postcount=46 Could someone test this and report back, please? I don't have FM12, so can't do it myself.
