Well this tactic has been brilliant. Won all my league and CL games, most by huge margins with our only loss came in the Community Shield. Even our reserve team has cruised through the League Cup. When your reserve team can beat a Premier League side 7-0, you know the tactic is great :)

One of the best tactics I've ever used.

Hi

As promised some words of the progression. I Played the first season as Rochdale with my own home made tacs and made it through as 15. I was predicted ad sure relegators but proved them wrong. I started out my second season with a loss and decided that I needed a new tactic. Started using the thespios variant. This is how it has turned out for now, made one little tweek though, all corners are made to nearest corner, brings alot of goals for the right central defender :-)

As anyone can see is my scoring all right but my defence sucks... I'm trying to bring in new defenders in january, but don't think I have the funds :-(

I'll bring more as the season progresses but I'm pretty slow because of alot of work and family time... :-)

i've created a new better version of this tactic and, this new version, is an evolution of the original devasto ("il devasto" fm2011):

specific hints & tips:

-you have to select the option "counterattack"

-MATCH PREPARATION(important): worklod high; additional focus area: no specific area

Ah ok lol en faite j'ai pas compris la préparation de match qu'il faut mettre, j'ai compris élevé collectif mais l'autre pff lol

En faite il indique :

Charge de Travail : Elevé

Domaine Additionel : Aucun

Ce qui me parait bizarre....

i play as man utd and was having real problems conceeded alot with this tactic, even losing a couple at the start of the season.

while using the tweaked version from thespios i made some defensive tweaks of my own, using some ideas from mr houghs tactics and just generally tightning up the defensive marking. also tried changing defending from corner and freekicks. i dont remember all the tweaks as i;ve just been doing it as i go along, but its certainly helped, even with rooney and ferdinand out injured.

my results since the tweaks are as follows:

won - 5-1 vs porto (A)

won - 6-1 vs bolton (N)

won - 2-0 vs west brom (A)

won - 6-0 vs porto (H)

won - 6-0 vs liverpool (H) (they only had 3 shots, none on target!)

won - 7-1 vs west brom (A)

won - 6-1 vs chelsea (A)

as you can see i'm more likely to keep a clean sheet at home, but also defend resolutely away from home. in a couple of those games i went one nill down early on but then took total control of the game.

a few notes:

- obviously cant promise it'll work any differently for you then the original.

- i set up an attacking corner routine with the two best headers being the two DC's. i havent read any cheat corner threads but mine is doing pretty well, or maybe its just vidic. the right DC attacks the near post and the left DC mops up any loose balls that are missed and come to the far post.

- i'm still conceeding the one goal away from home, maybe its concentration related, i dont know. i'm gonna try reducing the DC's mentality when i'm ahead and winning as it seems quite high naturally.

- i dont use any OI's

- assistant does team talks. but i individual talks, telling players that arnt playing too well that i have faith in them. also say the same thing to young subs i bring on

most of the games i have won 5-0 6-1, 8-0, 7-2, and like that but i'm play with barca right now.

But i think you should tried it out, then maybe you can even improve the tactic mate :)

Team work though it is early enough, it is then converted into defensive positions to the right, Messi was on the finish. I left it to the brew head of Llorente.
