Tom L
I am starting to die a liite inside everytime i get/concede a corner...corners seem to be better goalscoring chances then penalties in my game.
athos7
lol I feel the same way. Every time I concede a corner because my defender thinks it's better than to concede a throw-in, I feel the same way as conceding a penalty kick.
phnompenhandy
You mighty like to check out this thread where SI accept that corners are a problem and are currently working on a fix. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/283877-FM2012-difficulty./page13
Tom L
I know it is a problem, I just needed to whine a bit after going 0 - 2 down against a weaker Kidderminster side from 2 corners within the first 5 minutes of the game.

suckerkevin
I bought Ryan shawcross on my Aston Villa save. Changed Corner kicks to near post. Got Shawcross marking the nearpost. He scores at least once every 2 games..
Tom L
Well now i lose 0-2 against Crewe, from 2 corners. That ended my 14 match unbeaten run with my 24th position media prediction Hyde team
Scab
Conceding from corners gets on my nerves as well; goal-scoring rate seems a bit high. :/ I've set my match prep to Defending Set Pieces to combat this somewhat.
jdrawmer
I've even got to the point where I don't even apply match preparation to defending set pieces any more because it's ridiculous, and i've resorted to utilising a corner bug I found, so I score about as many as I concede now so at least it's barable. Tom L
Well i score about as many corners as i concede it's just something i like to see toned down. Last season every team in my division scored 10+ corners, the top team had 19 i think. My center back with a staggering 8 for heading have scored 10 goals so far and it isn't even christmas yet. jdrawmer
This is doing my head in more and more. I score a lot of corners, but I concede even more. It seems that every game that I concede a goal in, you can guarantee at least one of them will be a set piece. Time to spend hours trying to work out a good defensive tactic for set pieces! shirajzl
Put a player on each post, one on "go back", on to "lurk outside the area", two smaller players to "mark small player" and 4 to "mark tall player".
jdrawmer
I seem to have finally worked one out myself. Tried it in 10 games and haven't conceded any (except a dodgy penalty). johnhughthom
One tip I read somewhere is not to waste your full backs standing on the posts, when they are probably better defenders than other players you have marking. I noticed a definite drop in the number of goals conceded once I put my wingers on the posts and put my full backs on to marking.
