Cedrik
I noticed throughout the years now that in FM the AI controlled teams shoot a exceptional times from distant on the goal. Especially the strikers, and from the most nonsensical distants, halfway the pitch, from 30 or 40 meters out. The set up an attack, but as soon as the ball is in 35 meters off the goal, they start shooting. I just doens't make any sense, and I estimate that about 30 to 40% (sometimes even more) of the attacks from the AI team in a match is set up this way. Whats the idea behind this? Why are the AI controlled teams using so exaggerated much long shots on goal? Why can't they just set up an normal attack?
phnompenhandy
This has been discussed in other threads. On the one hand it's a sign of good defending that you're forcing the opposition to shoot from range; on the other hand it is excessive and needs to be improved.
