torehj
I usually like to retrain players to other positions if possible so i dont have to keep buying new players.. Has anyone done any "wild" retraining for positions? Had any success with the result? Some of my are: Antonio Valencia as RB (mayby not so out there irl) Didier Drogba as CD Fabio/Rafael as wingers (man utd) Verthonghen as AMC and SC Wilfried as CD (vitesse) Most of them were a succsess in there new positions, but Drogba was just for fun.. Any more?
PGB_SPURS_FM09
I'm signing a Brazilian winger (regen - 2026) solely to train him as a RB as I think I can get him to play there. I don't wanna break my personal wage structure so this is a better alternative to trying to sign a quality player but for high wages. He seems like a better bet then some of the RBs that come up in player search
GavinLP1987
Training Fabian Delph to be a right winger atm. Very quick with good dribbling skills. Don't think it really qualifies as "strange" now I think of it.
tommonufc
I think this may constitute a strange position. I recall playing a Championship Tottenham side in FM09 where they lined up in a 3-5-2 formation; with the three at the back featuring a sweeper and two infront. This isn't the strangest of all though, Peter Crouch playing as one of the two men in defence was.
