PoolFan
Does anyone have any tips showing how to setup a new game with a database that will have a lot of great regens in a few seasons. Which leagues to include, which nationalities etc or anything else? I want to start a new game but I dont want to simply add every league and nationality due to the performance dip that occurs with huge databases. sporadicsmiles
Edit a few clubs in the top division of the nations you wish to get good regens from to haev 20 for all the youth facilities etc in the editor. These will then produce excellent young players (well, have a much greater chance than that). Play aronud with how many teams you do this for to get a good balance. nev147
Make a custom database. When starting a new game, in the drop down menu for small, medium and large databases, there is custom. Go into there and load players from all top division clubs, or which every category best suits your need. I only do top division club, as I want a fast speed, while playing. I load up nations, like Argentina, Brazil, England, Italy, Spain, Germany etc etc And in the coming years the newgens should be up to standard. Hope that helps. Try it and holiday for maybe 10 years, and you should see a big difference. Oh and I use a medium database via the custom setting.
