Sassafras
I'm seeing a lot of strikers with high corner taking attributes, defencive midfielders with high penalty taking and centre backs with no bravery. I mean, you virtually never see a stiker ever take a corner, let alone be good at one.
x42bn6
Strikers can be pretty good at them - it's just that they are often better in the box as they are better finishers than crossers. Drogba, Rooney and van Persie are active corner takers for their clubs, for example.

Was about to say the same, Drogba always takes them, Much to the dismay of Ray Wilkins
SRL88
I think the overall influx of regens on FM12 are fantastic.
Coentrao
My only problem with regens is the lack of aggression and bravery compared to normal players.

x42bn6
I'll give you Drogba and Van Persie, but I've never seen Rooney take a corner, ever. He used to take a few corners a few seasons ago, partly because all our corner takers are, quite frankly, rubbish (we also make it worse by doing short corners). This was probably before he started going on that run of headed goals. He's a fairly good crosser of the ball and not bad with dead-ball situations, but he isn't a dead-ball specialist. He's just one of the best corner takers we have...
Nocuous
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was a quality corner taker too. Totti too, although he's more versatile not just an out and out striker. Although I do agree that it is a slightly odd trend in FM. The Bravery/Aggression, as well as Flair, can be slightly unevenly distributed between players and positions at times. Another one you tend to get a lot is the short World Class player, who'll have under 8 on jumping, but 20 for heading.
scott MUFC
why would rooney take corners when giggs takes em so well. i got a defender with 18 long throw sunderland have conner wickham who has 19 long throw... and he takes them in game, which is bizzare. as he is a striker
