m.u.f.c 1878 Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 i have made and released a good attacking tactic,but defensively its just not right.I've looked at a lot of options but me personally on this years football manager i am finding it near impossible.My tactic wins games by it's attacking and scoring ability.My friend has been testing to with west ham in his 2nd season in the premiership,currently in 4th just 3 pts behind the leaders,scoring the 2nd highest amount of goals but conceding to many.We have both found defenders operating high up the pitch but not closing down although we have tried man and zonal tight and lose marking.Its just very frustrating,the majority of goals conceded are against better opposition,like your arsenals,man city and top european clubs. What are people finding the most succesfull zonal or man? tight or lose? tight marking on central players? am i maybe closing down to high up the pitch leaving to much space behind? i find if i close deeper with a deeper defensive line the oppositon destroy me,it just invites trouble is attack the best line of defence Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
