Broloi
So, this guys name popped up, when I played my last match. It's by far the longest I've seen in FM. Let me introduce Claudio Randrianantoanina: My first thought was that he must be a regen, but he's 25 years old and I'm only one and a half season into this season. He is in fact a real life player and a Malagasy international player. Wow, I would hate to be commentating a match with him. "There goes Randrianantoanina! He's all through. Randrianantoanina is going for goal! What a wonderful goal from Randrianantoanina!!" Anyone seen a longer name? Regen or real life player?
Ackter
Hah, you beat me by one letter. I had an Andrianantoanina iirc.
x42bn6
Francisco Javier Ontanaya López-Astilleros - is he still on FM12? He's a Spanish referee. There's one more that is longer, but I've forgotten his name. He's another Spanish referee.

x42bn6
Try signing him! I did once in an older version of FM for Grimsby... He didn't exactly set the league on fire....I bet he was good for shirt sales, though, by his name alone...
nine_iron
I bet he was good for shirt sales, though, by his name alone... I would think the opposite, Same basic shirt, same cost.. More letters, more cost BUT still sell to fans for the same price = less profit!
Ackter
Costs per letter over a certain number iirc.
nine_iron
Costs per letter over a certain number iirc. I thought that was for custom shirts only... Didn't know it would be for club player names too! Then I think his shirt sales would be quite low. Along with a few others named in this thread
Broloi
Just found another Malagasy player. A regen. Jean-Yves Rakotonomenjanahary. And my mother always told me that the dutch "of" is the same as english, meaning "of". She's dutch btw .
