Charlie_B
Quick question: If the winners of the League Cup finish in the top 6 of the Premier League, do the finalists get into Europe? If so, what stage of the Europa League do they start at?
ssestig
Next league place gets it not the finallist and 3rd qualifying round IIRC.

RichieVilla
Runners up of FA Cup qualify for Europa League (eg Millwall irl) if finalists have qualified already but unfortunatley as stated above, only league cup winner can qualify with the spot going to the highest league placing if winner already qualified through the league

Charlie_B
I've just lost a League Cup final to Liverpool too! Ah well, the £1m gate receipts aren't to be sniffed at for a club with 6k seats - I reckon there were as many people at Wembley as I get through the turnstiles in a season...
