Without doubt Il Devasto was best tactic on FM11 so i've headed straight in with this il devasto is back version for FM12. I'm doing ok so far, still early into the game so players getting used to it. 1 result i had was Valencia 7 Barcelona 0! Could not believe it! Not like that every game though! Have both the wingers marking the opposition fullbacks, through balls set to sometimes crossing set to often The striker on the left with no forward runs and set to mark their MCR closing down at 20 (he should also be set to TM) Move our DM currently on the left to play DMC What happens is that when you lose the ball immediately the striker drops into midfield to make a three which mean the DM just sits infront of the CBs making it difficult for them to just pass the ball through when playing against a 4231 just set the DM to mark their AMC and either one of the CBs to mark the lone striker works the same Have tested this with Reading Villa and Spurs. Won the FA Cup and got promoted with Reading from the championship next season CL with not too many signings, Villa 3rd in the Prem just started with spurs after 25 games top of the league 2 defeats all season. As I found I was leaking way 2 many goals. so I tweaked it when i was happy the results I started a new game. I mainly tweaked the team settings, these are few results, when I started a new game. Made a copy of the entire folder before the latest patch downloaded then deleted all in the default folder and replaced it with the files from the copied folder. On my one computer it failed to load first time but then steam ran a mini update and then it worked. You can just paste the FM12.exe file from 12.1.1 into the default folder but that caused an issue with the skin I was using not showing the current game date. If you are going to do this then I'd recommend backing up the latest 12.2.1 folder first. If you need the 12.1.1 FM12.exe file I could upload it somewhere and pm you the link if you wanted.
