Welsh Wizard
Hopefully next season will be your year. Thanks. With the wage getting a massive cut nice to see everyone expectations have adjusted Media think 13th and board want respectable after I picked top half. Won't adjust mine just keep aiming for #1 till 100% out of reach but nice to know I have some space to fall back on when in past seasons the board expected a lot more. Welsh Wizard
Copa America 2015 Preview Group A Brazil Colombia Mexico Venezuela Group B Chile Ecuador Peru U.S.A Group C Argentina Boliva Paraguy Uruguay Group A Brazil - The Hosts find themselfs a more of the easier looking groups with Mexico the most likely team to challenge them. With an experience defence with Alves, Thiago Silva, Dede and Marcelo not only are they solid with pace and strength between the CBs but have great attack in FBs Sandro and Lucus will protect the defence well and allow the attack threat of the front four to be free. Ganso is the main figure head and it will his job to make it all tick as he picks out the wide players in Neymar and Hulk. Pato completes the main line up but hasn't been very prolific for Milan in the past seasons but will the quality around him his task is surely made easier. A player on the fringe is my key player to watch out for and is Douglas Costa who is just making his way in to the side but this seasons 36.5mil Signing for Chelsea after making his mark for Napoli for the past few season he is near the top I expect this to be his tournament if give the chance. Brazil tournament to lose imo. Key Player - Douglas Costa Colombia - Tough group for them but they will be aiming to beat Mexico to 2nd. A team which is getting a group of top players at the same time has paid off and many are in there prime now and can surely be a threat on there day. Very poor showing at the World Cup but have beat France recently certainly on the rise. Loss of Falcao to injury has hurt their chance of getting out of the group and more will relay on Darwin Quintero to get the goals but if James Rodríguez can give him good balls he will get goals. Thats why both are the key players if one is not on top of there game the other will suffer. Key Player - Darwin Quintero & James Rodríguez Mexico- A team of great youth talent is coming of age just now. Some shocks in the squad with the like of Andres Guardado, Ochoa and Gio dos Santos not in the team with the latter been stuck in the Spurs reserves. Even with the players not even in the squad they have some great plays none other so then there main ST Fierro and Javier Hernández will be a very big threat to any team either could be the key player but Javier Hernández edges it. Key Player - Javier Hernández Venezuela - Lacking a player of Juan Arango quality in Mid the physical Salomón Rondón will find it hard to get chances but he was 2nd behind Ronaldo for the Golden Boot so anything could happen. Venezuela will need to use the physical strength they have and try to get points that way as they lack any technical skill. Key player is Rondón who will have to win games himself if they are to get anywhere I feel. Key Player - Salomón Rondón Group B Chile - Finished 4th at the last World Cup beating France and Holland on the way have also beat Germany and USA in recent times. Looking good as a team overall with 2/3 stand out players but still a suprise to be doing that well. One too watch and could be shock wins or just winners Alexis Sánchez will be the main man and his record speaks for itself. Key Player - Alexis Sánchez Ecuador - Shock and Antoino Valencia has not made the squad there best player by miles one of the weakest looking teams and will be a up hill struggle. Felipe Caicedo will need to play like there is no tommorow to get anything as can seen Ecuador getting well outplayed. Key Player - Felipe Caicedo Peru - Ecuador can pick up points from Peru which says it all. Not looking good for them lack talented players allround Juan Manuel Vargas adds some Talent but not enough around him too offer a threat to most teams. Key Player - Juan Manuel Vargas U.S.A - Some of the older stars are well past it such as 188 cap Donovan but some good newgens have helped bridge the gap and they still have some talent but a shadow of what they were. Will likely get 2nd but quite a bit away from Chile. Key Player - Mike Evans Group C Argentina - Up there with Brazil and will be the main challengers to the hosts. Will quality players all over the pitch such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero, Javier Pastore and Nicolás Otamendi they are a massive threat lack in defence compared to Brazil which could be what limits them but with Messi they can always hope he can pulls out a rabbit of his hat and win games on his own which is seen as the only thing he has missed in his career for Argentina to make him the best of the best. Key Player - Lionel Messi Boliva - Weakest team in the tournament. Don't think having Messi could even help them out. Juan Carlos Arce will have his work cut out trying to drag the rest of the team with him. Key Players - Juan Carlos Arce Paraguy - Have a outside chance of winning the whole thing. Strong looking squad with plenty of talent up top if Lucas Barrios can get the goals anything could happen. Key Player - Lucas Barrios Uruguay - Will contest 2nd with Paraguy. Good players in attack in and Defence. Get out of the group and anything could happen in a H2H outside chance to win the tournament but with one of the best STs in the World in Edinson Cavani we have every chance. Key Player - Edinson Cavani
Welsh Wizard
Uruguay Copa America 2015 Update Group A - Some shocked results such as Colombia beating Brazil and Mexico finishing bottom with only managing a Draw vs Venezuela. Group B - U.S.A finished bottom but was very tight. No suprise that Chile where top with ease. Group C - Paraguy was harder than expected and Nelson Valdez was in the form of his life getting a hattrick edged out buy Argentina which gived them top spot QF - Every team expected got through. Argentina just about. SF - Dominated and should of won by more. Brazil should of been through but could not score even with there total dominance. Final - We took our chances on another day could of gone either way. Resigned straight after as want to concentrate on Crawley than a lengthy world cup qualification campaign. Welsh Wizard
With Poyet taking over Uruguay I was faviourite for the job he left at Portsmouth. Board didn't like it so resigned took a few days but the offer finally came. Currently sitting 21st in the Championship after one game. Media think 14th. Welsh Wizard
Going for it? Yeah jumped at it Hopefully have a steady first season and try get wages in order without getting relegated. Looking at the squad will be a struggle as lacking players in key areas but a few changes here and there and can change from bottom half to promotion candidates well thats what I hope. Will get some club info up and somewhat of a preseason update some time.

Welsh Wizard
Portsmouth have been champions of England twice, in 1949 and 1950, and have won the FA Cup twice, most recently in 2008 when they beat Welsh side Cardiff City 1–0 in the final with Nwankwo Kanu scoring the only goal. Portsmouth's home matches have been played at Fratton Park since the club's formation in 1898. Info Facilities Finances Squad Tal Ben-Haim Finances not looking too bad minus the loans Get in the Prem and maintain there and it will be sort. Squad needs some improvements but need to free up wages first. Tal Ben-Haim is best player by quite a bit but is on Premiership wages so this will be his last season at the club if I can't get rid of him sooner and able to get someone in. Welsh Wizard
Portsmouth 2015/16 - Mid-season Update. Table Transfers Great first half of the season and find ourselfs just in the play-offs which I did not expect to be at this stage. Players mainly signed for the future and I have 4/5 who I think would be key players in a team able to challenge for the title.
