Windowed mode

Hey, quick question.

I have recently loaded fm08 onto my new laptop and for some reason i can't play fm in windowed mode....any way to sort this?

im running the game on vista also. Thanks for the help.

To play the game in Windowed mode offically you need a screen resolution greater than 1024x768 if it won't let you choose Windowed mode from the preferences menu, you can do it manually, however depending on your resolution things may be cut off.

To do it manually, first in Vista you'll need to create a desktop shortcut to FM08 (if you don't already have one - locate where you installed the game, right click on the fm.exe and send to desktop, that should create a shortcut on your desktop). Next right click on the shortcut on your desktop, select properties at the bottom.

Then in the dialog box that appears Select the 'Target Box:' scroll to the end of the box after the " add this: --small_screen --windowed

Click OK, then double click the desktop shortcut and the game should run in windowed mode.
