mBrace1985
I'm thinking of starting a season in iceland and was just wondering if clubs ever turn professional or are they always semi professional?
cpfc543
Once a semi professional club has enough money, you can ask the board to become a professional club. However it does cost quite a lot of money (0.8-1.2 million quid), so it will take a while.

Morbs
Strangely enough I've just started myself in the Second Division of Icelandic football as Vikingur O. Confusingly there is a Vikingur from Olafsvik (My team) and one from the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. Short season of only 22 games plus Cup so should be a nice break from my English League saves where the seasons are long and, especially in League One and Championship, many teams are fighting it out for promotion. I'm an incredibly average manager so I'm not expecting promotion any time soon but this is the kind of league where one key player should be able to make the difference! Good luck Martin. mBrace1985
I'm looking for a career save because not really sunk my teeth into 2012 had a great save on 2011 with Mlada Boleslav in Czech Rep and turned them into European Champions which was great. But the Belarus league has now also caught my eye
Boo! Human
I don't have the game in front of me but last night I found on Youtube videos of the team Stjarnan and their crazy goal celebrations and got the urge to start a save with them! They're in Iceland 1st tier if I'm not mistaken, check them out on youtube it's a riot.
bjoggi33
I'm managing Keflavík in the Icelandic Premier League. The quality of the league isn't the best but that can improve with time if you do well in Europe and such. Also the league is only 22 games and theres 2 cups so getting trough a season doesn't take that long.
