How do i get this skin on?

Just saved the flex.rar skin onto my pc and saved it in skins but i cant get it onto the game ive done everything on the prferences thing like unticking use skin cache but when i go to change the skin it only has the two default skins

You need to unrar the skin first first. Using whatever Unraring program you have, select the flex.rar file and select the extract here option (or whatever it is called in your program.)

You need to also extract the file you downloaded. It is at present a compressed format (.rar)

1. Download and install 7-zip: http://www.7-zip.org/

2. Put flex.rar in a temporary file somewhere (on your desktop even)

2. Right-click on flex.rar, select '7-zip' from the menu then choose 'Extract Here'

3. Put the extracted files in your skins directory:

eg ...my documents/sports interactive/football manager 2008/skins/

4. Be sure you place it in the skins folder in the user data area (my documents) NOT where the program is installed.

5. Make sure 'use skin cache' is un-ticked, then reload the current skin.

6. Go to preferences and flex should appear on the list.
