I want to start low down, like Blue Square Premier level but there were no vacancies at the moment. I knew it was going to be a waiting game. I flicked on Sky Sports news, the new season had started and I saw that the managers at Kettering and Darlington were severely under pressure, so I went to the papers and declared my interest. I also applied for the vacant Hereford job. I knew it was a long shot seeing as they were in League 2, but I sent the e-mail anyway. I sat there with my coffee. Would anyone appoint me, an unexperienced manager with a lot to prove. I would have to wait and see, I hope that someone takes and interest because whoever I join, I will give it 100%.
