DazRTaylor
Kind of annoying with the scout issue. Did you send in a report. Very annoying. I won't bother - the last report I sent in, I wasn't believed. Made some amazing signings for the Championship. Pressures on for the promotion now! Thanks. Season review incoming... DazRTaylor
END OF SEASON REVIEW SEASON 2026-27 League With ten league matches to go, we were just one point behind second place and I thought we would overhaul them with ease. Alas, it was to be the playoffs as a very poor run of form saw us win only one game in six to finish the regular season in fourth place. This did, of course, mean the playoffs and a two legged semi final tie against Southampton. The first leg at St Mary's was surprisingly routine, with my side proving too strong as we won 3-1. The return leg at Portman Road three days later was an almost carbon copy, as we ran out 3-1 winners again, for a 6-2 aggregate win. The playoff final at Wembley was a showdown between my Ipswich side and the former giants, Everton. We demolished them 3-0 and in truth, it should of been a lot more. Promotion! F. A. Cup A cracking cup run but one that I felt ultimately cost me automatic promotion. MK Dons were dispatched in the third round (4-0 at home) which set up a lucrative tie against Manchester City in round four. We won against a weakened side 3-1 in front of the live TV cameras. The fifth round saw us drawn to play fellow Championship outfit Swansea City and after a 1-1 draw at The Liberty Stadium, we won 2-0 at home in the replay. The quarter final paired us with Premier League Stoke City. A battling 2-2 draw at The Brittania Stadium set up a winnable game at home in the replay, which we duly won 3-1 to progress to the semi final and a tie with Liverpool. Unfortunately, the Scousers proved too strong and we lost 2-0. A good cup run though. Carling Cup We were already eliminated when I arrived at the club. PLAYERS Player of the Season One of my first signings, on a free transfer no less. 20 goals in his 27 appearances make Charis Mantzios my Player of the Season. Special Mention Jovica Djordjevic is a young Macedonian centre half but he played like a veteran. I feel he will be terrific in the Premier League. DazRTaylor
SEASON 2027-28 PREVIEW Media Prediction - 19th. My Expectation - 10th. I never aim for less than the top half. Transfer Budget - £14,750,000. It was over £23m but I reduced it to enable higher wages. Wage Budget - £710,084 per week. PLAYERS Players In Miltiadis Lyras - Brilliant young German striker. I cannot believe he agreed to join the club. Are Storli - Young Norwegian central midfielder with a huge future. Franco Rolando - Italian attacking midfielder who is equally adept up front. Should be playing international football but strangely overlooked. Viktor Magnusson - Teenage Icelandic centre half who can also play at right back. Faed Packleode - 16 year old French striker brought in to develop into a class front man. Kasim Haliti - Macedonian central defender who will partner Jovica Djordjevic at the heart of defence for the club. Oliver Sutton - Young English centre back signed from Burton Albion. Will probably be loaned out this season. Blair Ross - Young Scottish goalkeeper, signed for the future. Marian Paraska - One of my greatest ever bargains. Signed for just £35,000, this defender comes from Slovakia. Mohamed Rafik - Versatile Belgian signed on a free transfer after his contract with Seraing expired. Theofanis Papathanasiou - After turning down a new deal at relegated Fleetwood Town, I snapped up this English/Greek defensive midfielder on a free transfer to bolster my squad. Players Out I shifted 11 players, raising £6.75m in transfer fees.
DazRTaylor
FURTHER ADDITION Really chuffed to sign this chap. The third Montenegran at the club, he was one of the hottest properties this summer, wanted by many teams.

DazRTaylor
MID SEASON REVIEW A storming first half to the season! League Way beyond my wildest dreams. But look at West Brom! F. A. Cup We have drawn fellow top flight side Wolves in the third round, at home. Carling Cup As with the league, we have performed terrifically well in the Carling Cup. Charlton were hammered in round two (3-0, away), Fulham in round three (2-0, home), a weakened Arsenal in round five (3-0, home) and another weakened side, Liverpool, in the quarter final (1-1, away. We won 5-4 on penalties). This has set up a semi final with Championship side Everton over two legs, the first leg at home. PLAYERS Players In Just the one new signing, Uruguayan left back Gabriel Caceres joins from former club AS Monaco. Players Out As with new signings, only one player has departed so far in this transfer window, Damien Pucknall joining Leeds United for £3.4m. DazRTaylor
That's an awesoem team youve got already, maybe not surprising you've shone in the Premier League. Thanks - I think it is a kind of flaw really. I knew of a lot of these talented players through the scouts at previous clubs and some were on my shortlist. DazRTaylor
END OF SEASON REVIEW SEASON 2027-28 Simply a fantastic season! Yet it could of been even better... League How could the season have been better? Well, after 34 games we were second, just two points behind league leaders Manchester City. We travelled to Wolves and lost 2-1 and followed this up with a catastophic home defeat to Manchester City, which ended our title push. A further loss at Chelsea meant we clung onto a Champions League spot in the end. However, it is still a brilliant season. F. A. Cup Victories in the third round (home to Wolves, 3-0), fourth round (away to Queens Park Rangers, 2-0), fifth round (3-1 at home to Arsenal in the replay after a 1-1 draw at The Emirates), quarter final (away to Manchester United, 2-1) and semi final (Fulham at Wembley, 6-0), set up a final against Huddersfield Town. We duly won 4-1, though it flattered us a little bit. Carling Cup As discussed in the mid season review, we were to play Championship side Everton in the semi final over two legs. After a 5-0 home win in the first leg, it was all but over. A 1-1 in the return at Goodison Park rounded off a 6-1 aggregate win. The final paired Ipswich against Manchester City and after a goalless ninety minutes, the game entered extra time. Fifteen minutes in and half time in extra time, it was still without a goalscorer. However, two late goals sealed a magnificent trophy win for the Tractor Boys as we won 2-0! PLAYERS Player of the Season The year Silvio Zangari came of age. 40 assists and he made the right wing slot his own. Special Mention What is it with me and centre backs? Kasim Haliti was a revelation. A rock at the back and absolutely lethal at set pieces, scoring 31 goals.

DazRTaylor
SEASON 2027-28 PREVIEW Media Prediction - 9th My Expectation - 3rd. After finishing fourth last season, the target must be even higher. Transfer Budget - £14,130,000. I have reduced this from £28,000,000 to enable my large wage budget... Wage Budget - £999,742 per week. PLAYERS Players In Fabian Perets - Very classy Argentine centre half with a massive future. Majed Al-Khaybari - 22 year old Iranian central midfielder signs from AS Monaco for £3.8m. A cracking purchase. Afonsinho - A £3m signing from West Brom after he turned down a new deal at The Hawthorns. Young, Brazilian and plays in defensive midfield. Listed as a "Wonderkid". Vladan Tomic - Central midfielder signed for a bargain £2.8m. Alreeady a full international for his native Serbia. Christopher Aubynn - I am surprised IFK Gothenburg allowed this 17 year old striker to leave. Cost just £500,000. Martin Kovac - I have taken a punt on this teenage Slovakian goalkeeper but at £150,000 he is not a risk. Igor Turkalj - Signed from Rangers on a Bosman free transfer. Will provide competition up front. Catanha - 23 year old Brazilian striker signed on a Bosman free transfer after he turned down a new deal at Real Madrid. Players Out Eight players have been allowed to leave, raising £22.5m in transfer fees.
