TheShamanOfFm
I am having a hard time getting back into FM after a long break any ideas on how to get back into it?
Giggsidan
Start with a decent mid-table side who aren't expected to finish high, and start with a professional or international experience? This way the players will react better to you.

Chicha_14
I had a great save with Swansea, I would recommend starting one with them and try to implement there possession football tactics.
Giggsidan
Well, if you're clueless to the game now then someone like I said like Everton or Aston Villa or whoever. If you're pretty experienced but just finding it hard to pick a team then grab a lower league side. Some of the best saves I've had have been from picking a team in the Blue Square North/South or Premier and guiding them to the top leagues and European football. I had a good one with Tonbridge Angels in FM11 and again with Hyde in FM12.

Giggsidan
Ok. So what I'm asking is do you need an 'easy' game to help you get back into things or do you just want a challenging interesting game because you burnt out in the past or something? Sounds to me like you're not really ready to start playing this game again yet. If I were you I'd go away for another 6 months, or until you suddenly think of a team to might like to manage. Then just do it!
