Jan/Feb 2013/2014

Have managed to kick of my career at Vitesse with only 1 defeat in 8 games which has seen the team get to top of the league and sit with a points advantage as well. I am playing two formations at the moment standard 4-4-2 but also took up the option of playing a 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation which i have used quite well and the team has players to fit into this formation which is superb. Last game of the month saw us get a 2-0 win away to AZ which was superb as its gave me a 3 point lead from them in league.

March 2013/2014

Great month with a great run of results and has established a great lead at the top of the division. Some highlights would be victory's against Feyenoord and Ajax great perfromances and managed to get the points in these games. I have now opened a 10 game unbeaten run and this form has put me in a great position in the league with my only threat being PSV if the win their games in hand. Now going into last 5 games of the season and i hope we can continue this form and win a top league title which will be awesome for my cv specially only being here since january.

Season 2013/1014 review

Started my career with Vitesse in Jan of 2014 and it has been a great start to my career here. With only two defeats in my time at Vitesse its been a great run of results along the way and hope we can build on this next season. We will be in europe next season which will be my first time in europe in this journey, so will use it as a experience with this club and will look to build on this league victory at same time. Some great results along the way with wins against AZ, feyenoord, FC Twente and Ajax. Been a great start to my career at Vitesse with it only being a short period, will be in europe next season which will be great but i think i need to make a few signings to bolster this squad for next season and move on the players that didnt play much this season.

EredivisieOverview_Stages.png

Dutch Cup:

Never played in this in my spell as team were knocked out in second round before i took the reigns, the board expectation was semi final. I will look to get this team further next season and the board will have the same expectations no doubt.

Previous club:

Just a update on previous club after i left the didn't get much more points if any and finished bottom of the league.

Youth Development

I thought i would add this into this post as in dutch football they are really keen about there youth development which at Vitesse was a major reason i took the job as they have some good young players. Both under 19's and reserves team have finished champions in there respective league so for Vitesse its been a clean sweep in all of dutch football which has been brilliant

Future prospect:

JelleLauretOverview_Profile.png

Key Players:

Brilliant winger and put some cracking performances in, he only made 2 app and was on transfer list as well when i took over and now at end of season he is a key player in my squad made 16 app with 10 assists and 4 goals great return from him. Obviously he is not on the transfer list anymore lol.

Another player has been my striker and main source of goals. He has made 27 appearances and a return of 15 goals which has been a great return. In his first game for me which was a friendly in the winter break he banged in 4 goals from then i knew he would be my main source of goals.

Season Preview 2014/2015

Board Expectations:

League: To compete for the Eredivisie title

Dutch Super Cup: Performance will be evaluated after game.

Champions Cup: Reach the group stage

My Objective:

I will be competing on all fronts this season with champions league and also the Eredivisie. I will expect my team to be challenging for the Eredivisie title this season after a successful season last season i want to build on it this season. I will need to increase the size of my squad to compete on all fronts and look to bring some real quality in to make my already good team into a squad of great players. I will be looking to add some quality young players in to help grow this club and make it a continued success in dutch football and march towards success in europe. I will expect to get to group stages in champions league and see if this team can progress any further that will be great.

Budgets:

Transfer: £8,135,00

Wage Budget: £423,030 (currently spending £301,030)

Balance: £19,873,745

Will update signings soon.

Pre season 2014/2015

Mixed bag of result in pre season with only one defeat so i am happy with that. I changed about alot during pres season games to get a feel for a team after making alot of signings and with alot of players leaving to. I feel have managed to bring in some young talent to mix in with the experience i have in this team already. I had a strong team anyways and i felt i only had to make a couple of signings to compliment them but with my scouts bringing alot of great young talent i thought it was a great opportunity to snap them up and bring them into this team gradually and will give us some good depth in areas to.

Might get off to a slow start after so many changes.

yeah might do, havnt changed alot of my starting 11 from last season i have only lost one player from that starting 11 so what i have brought in will hopefully add quality and provide cover for the extra games we will play due to europe.

  • 2 weeks later...

August 2014/2015

been a good start so far this season with 5 straight wins which includes winning the Dutch Super cup which was brilliant. 4 leagues wins at the start has been a great start but now we have to continue this form into next month. With a good start we have played reasonably good teams but yet still to be tested again the big teams and going into sept we will have PSV which will be good to see how this team does.
