Martinique is a Caribbean overseas department of France composed of two groups of islands. The capital of Martinique is Fort-de-France. Martinique's area is approximately 1128 km² (436 sq mi). The population is almost 400,000 inhabitants.

The island of Martinique was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493 and became a French colony in 1635. The main economic activity is trade. Tourism is a key industry, becoming more important than agricultural exports. French is the official language, but many Martinicans speak Martiniquan Creole. Its currency is the Euro.

The Martinique League is responsible for organizing the championships and cups of the island. There are four divisions, but only the three divisions are active. There are also four Cups played by the 3 divisions teams

Division d'Honner (1st Division) - 14 teams (3 relegated)

Promotion d'Honneur Régionale (2nd Division) - 14 teams (3 promoted / 3 relegated)

Promotion d'Honneur (3rd Division) - 14 clubs (3 promoted / 4 relegated)

Coupe de Martinique - 42 teams (knock-out system)

Coupe de France (Martinique) - 42 teams (knock-out system)

Coupe de la Ligue - 2 teams (champions of Division d'Honneur vs. champions of Coupe de Martinique)

Trophée du Conseil Général - 4 teams (champions of DH, PHR, PH and Première Division (4th level))

Trophée Mutuelle Mare Gaillard - Ligue Antilles Foot

North America Cup organized by the Guadeloupe and Martinique Leagues. The Cup is disputed by eight teams (four of Martinique (the top finishers in the Division d'Honneur of the previous year) and four of Guadeloupe) - knockout system.

Trophée des Champions Clubs des Antilles-Guyane

North America Cup played by the champion and the runners-up of Martinique Division d'Honneur and the champions of Guadeloupe and French Guiana (knockout system).

Coupe de l'Outre Mer

International Cup played by the national teams of overseas departments and territories of France (Guadeloupe, Martinique Island, French Guiana, Reunion, Tahiti, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Mayotte and New Caledonia). The eight teams are divided into two groups of four and top two qualify for semi-finals and then for the final. All matches are played in France.

- Extract the four xml files (Martinique.xml, Ligue Antilles.xml, Trophée des Champions Clubs des Antilles-Guyane.xml and Coupe de l'Outre Mer.xml) to the folder: .../Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/editor data/

- Select all four files to start a new game.

- Select Martinique.

- Check the options: "Add key staff" and "Add players to eligible playable teams".

- I tried to make those leagues and cups as closer to reality as possible. Of course I had to make some adjustments.

- Some clubs, cities, stadiums, officials, newspapers, tv and radio stations were created.
