dantig
Newb question here: I won the US Cup and the NACL with Seattle (MLS), both of which I thought qualified me for the next year's tourney, but the following year the NACL started without me! I went on vacation for a few weeks during December to speed up towards the contract expiration dates (I was losing a few big names, but was ready to pounce on some very cheap but very good players from Japan's U-23 team). Did I miss the registration for the NACL or something? Or is it that if you win the NACL, you can't play in it the following year? Thanks for the help! danger_mouse
I believe you have to qualify through the domestic league, even if you won the NACL, iirc i had the same proplem with New England.

US Open Cup winner should have qualified you directly for the NACL regardless of winning the NACL.
looknohands
Winning the NACL doesn't give you an automatic birth, but the US Open Cup should have. What years did all of this occur in?
