Sometimes i will say hes part of the team and i want to keep him. Sometimes i will say i will sell you in the next transfer market or whenever. Sometimes when i agree to the player been sold to a club for x amount or even nothing the player will come to me and say i want you to pay 2,000 pound for the next x amount of time. Then the player will come to me when i've turned that down and say you said you would sell me but there isn't a option to say i tried to sell you and you came to me asking for money. CityAndColour Posted September 5, 2012 Share Posted September 5, 2012 When he is on a very minimal lower league contract, comes to me saying he wants to leave, I say "I'll let you go at the end of the season" and he replies with "I can't wait that long", so I offer him mutual termination and he becomes "shocked and angered", I really wish I had the option to tell him to stick one. Ditto when I make a promise to try and find a new club for him, I offer him out under every condition under the sun, no club is interested and he then comes back saying "you broke your promise, I'm going to take matters further", I wish I could tell him "no one wants you". You could have the same options, but they have different effects, like "I'm pleased with your performance in the last match" would come out as "Yeah, sure, I was reeeeaaaally happy with how you played. What more could i have done to sell you? *why should i pay a portion of your future wages when you demanded to leave? *you're the captain of the best team in the league, why are you about to go to a team 10 places below us for half the money? * i will only sell you if an acceptable offer comes in. I also want the option to tell the fans and players that he demanded a move so not to be annoyed at me for selling him as i didnt want him to go. The whole chat thing right now is pretty poor, too many conversations just make no sense or don't have enough options. Really hope SI are giving this a big overhaul. I never leave things to my assistant as even witht the games best he isnt you and I find 99% of the time the AI pick a totally different option to me and I very rarely slip up with my comments. 1 instance that keeps happening to me though is a player who I have no intention of selling as he is in my plans simply got injured and has not been able to get back in the starting 11 for a few games. This is because the guy who came in kept scoring. Now the player wants to leave as not playing enough I get left witht he choice of sell you next window, end of season or ill put you in straight away or something similar. All those options are not what I want. Do not want to sell him but if you tell him he will get the football next game other players get upset, the fans think your bonkers to drop someone who was doing brilliant and the players think your a push over. Surely a whole load of options could be implemented. Way more than just 5 or 6. Tell the player that hes still very much part of your plans you just cant drop anyone at the moment because of how well the starting xi have done in recent games. Tell him to keep working hard in training and chance will come. Tell him because of how the sides been doing while he was injured he has to bide his time but will get a chance at first opp. etc... I love this lol. It would be great when dealing with the players with the biggest ego's like Christiano Ronaldo. However I dont think this would make it into any version of the game.
