theincrediblehulk
- I'd take Olivier Kahn over Schmeichel anyday. Even Buffon over Schmeichel tbh. - Maradona's best position was playing in the hole just behind the striker. - I'd prefer Batistuta to Ronaldo as well. Purefun
I actually would agree on Giggs mate. --- Already loads of fantastic players.

Yeah i know maradonas best position is AMC but i just love zidane lol was going to play maradona attack minded but that would leave a big gap in the midfield. Might drop Zidane to the bench. Thing is ive never seen most of the players mentioned. Only 19 you see. So i wouldn't know what there stats would be like.
theincrediblehulk
If you havent heard of the player, dont include him in your squad mate. This type of thing is always debatable. You can never say for sure that so and so is the best player in the position ever. There will always be different views. So if you dont know about a player, dont include him. Why not go for some of the recent/current players who we all know are legends? For eg, if you want some strength in midfield, drop Zidane or Maradona to the bench and bring in someone like Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira or the man who pretty much made famous the DM role - Claude Makelele? For strikers, you can have Thierry Henry or Andriy Shevchenko? These players are all some of the best to have ever played the game. There's no age limit to be a called a "legend" as far as I know. AcidBurn
The most underated footballer everMATT LE TISSIER! What a legend. I am not a Southampton fan but I must agree played like a Brazilian full of flair. I any current premier league player will score as many amazing goals as he did. What a genious. This sort of thing is always debatable because legends and who was the best is a matter of opinion. Would be cool to play this team in the same league as a team filled with best players of today and see who comes out on top. Romario was awesome in his day upfront as was Jus Fontaine theres too many to fit into one team lol.

Ty H
Too many mentioned of good recent players, I'm a huge fan of cantona, bergkamop & Zola and further up Cafu & Carlos but they'd never get in the best ever squad. Especially with the huge attackign options you could choose from, Pele, Maradona, Di Stefano, Maradona, Best, Cruyff, Van Basten, Rivelino, Zico, Platini etc etc!
