Jedzo
I love it when my board gets taken over beacause you always get bags of cash! Why is it that it only happens once in a blue moon!?
weeeman27bob
IRL Board takeovers only happen once every 10 years or so at most so therefore they don't happen very often on FM. FYI this thread should probably be in the general questions forum
VeniVidiVicious
I love it when my board gets taken over beacause you always get bags of cash! Why is it that it only happens once in a blue moon!? I was taken over with Leeds, and the new owner refused to give me any money for anything!
Zellix
It is realistic that it doesn't happen very often, since it really doesn't happen very often. I see a few people on the board get sacked through take overs. I was top of the league, got promoted the season previously and the consortium who was attempting to take over released a statement to the media saying they wanted to bring in x manager (can't remember who) to replace me. Thankfully the deal fell through.
scotia1980
Whenever I have experienced a board takeover they always sack me, regardless of league position and bring in Sven.

Piddy
with certain clubs, their board might be looking to leave or something, so if you want the chance of getting a rich investor to come in, manage one of those teams, it says in their club information.
