redwest
Hello folks. Im having a problem that im pretty sure i didnt have in FM12 when buying players. Ill go straight in to an example. Im attempting to purchase Nathan Redmond. With a remaining budget of 2.6 million I offered an initial fee of 1 million with monthly installments over 24 months of 5 million which they accepted (dont tell me if i could have got him cheaper!). Redmond's agent accepted a contract with agent and loyalty fees of 200k each, it was all set to go through. Then i am told i do not have enough money to let the deal go through, but can change the wage to transfer ratio in the budget so that it will. This means the initial payment for Redmond is over 2.6 million. What fees are part of the deal that i am not seeing? Im really sure in FM12 i only ever saw an amount around that of the initial fee leave my transfer budget. Thanks.
FrazT
The initial fee and the first years installments will come out of the first year budget- 1 +2.5= 3.5 which you dont have.
redwest
Ah okay, thanks. Did SI add this to counter people paying very little initial fees?
Welshace
was the same in fm12 .. you're offering to pay the 5million over 2 years.... they will therefore want £2.5 million for hte first year immediately... if you did it over 48months however
Cougar2010
Ah okay, thanks. Did SI add this to counter people paying very little initial fees? As far as I remember the initial fee + payments due before the end of the season have always come out of your current budget.
