BigAir360
Ok Guys heres the Dealio. Before the switch over of servers or what ever there was a thread on some called (iirc) 'Non-Alcoholic Chocolate Box' Or something like that. I forget the proper name. But what it was, - was a little file you put in the 8.02 folder, and it automatically loaded more nations. without having to Load More players. Meaning you can play more nations without needing to load more players from that particular nation. Anyway I had too re-format my PC, and that file i can no longer find. If anybody knows what im talking about. Please upload or link me to a place where i could find it please. Thanks All.

Barockhamster
How do you implement these?? Maybe this can help you 4. How do I make them and where do they go? EDT and DDT files are created in notepad. When you go into notepad, and have finished typing in your commands, click File. Then, click Save. In the dialog box that appears, select "All Files" for the file type (this option is near the bottom). Then, type in whateveryouwant.edt or whateveryouwant.ddt (obviously changing "whateveryouwant" to something more memorable). Save them in the "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\data\db" directory (where "C:" is the letter of your hard drive). from: http://footballmanagerportal.co.uk/footygamer/topic/
tomo31
I created some ddt files based on the scouting regions within FM08 Can i use these db files as well as use an 08/09 data update?
Reggae Boyz
Can i use these db files as well as use an 08/09 data update? Yes, as long as you put them in the 'edt' folder within the database. The exact location if using Windows is: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Fm 2008\data\db\(databsase name)\edt or My Documents\Sports Interactive\Fm 2008\data\db\(databsase name)\edt
