Outsourcing match engine

Recommended Posts

I thought Sega were the publishers?

Isn't the game developed purely at SI?

They can and do enlist technical help from any part of Sega, they also use external experts in areas such as database optimisation.

My point is about where the game is developed - that is physically purely at SI.

Whether they are owned by Sega is immaterial.

Some studios are better at developing graphical engines than others. So it might be worth collaborating with a specialist match engine studio, for example like the PES engine studio, to improve the quality of f the match engine.

With all due respect, Sigames Staff lacks of advanced tactical knowledge, as seen in the new ME (very poor and basic).

In addition, a football simulation is very complicated.

To leap forward, they need - imho - a tactical advisor very prepared.

Let's say someone who has a profile very similar to Andrea Stramaccioni (Inter coach).

Young (1976) and prepared.

I do not know if their budget allows that.

You seriously think they don't have (and pay for) that kind of expertise?

I promise you they have no qualms about enlisting the best possible technical and theoretical assistance they can get.
