peleJunior
I play with AML/R wide players and would like to know what the wide play roles will have them do. Cuts Inside - is that with ball or without ball? Moves into channels? Normal? Hugs touch line - is that with or without ball? Whats the difference between floated and drilled crosses? Is there a way to make byline cut backs instead of air crosses? Thanks for any help.
dngrs
drilled is best for near post while floated is for far post afaik hug the touchline is the only one working just without the ball, the rest work with both I dunno about Normal
lemeures
Normal is balanced. The player will vary between cutting in and staying wide, depending on situations and prefered moves.
dngrs
so.. it depends on mental stats similar to Mixed? ie decisions I'm guessing it's best for roamers?
manager2012
do not overlap with fullbacks the wingers will not cross.

Depends where you want them to roam? I play inside forwards behind a deep lying forward, so cut inside is selected. Having roam on seems to let them vary from cutting inside to the channels from out wide, and cutting in from the channels to a more central position. So I would assume a winger with hug the touchline would usually roam into the channels more often than central, but thats just guess work based on there starting position. Definitely think mental stats are important for anything that allows them to improvise, if hes not mentally strong, as you said in decisions you should tell him exactly what you want

Or, it could be your base to start from, see what works in game and then exploiting it.
