Thom Welch
I'm manager of Chelsea and in my 4th season and I've noticed that this season my tax has gone up to £11m per month which is considerably more than previous seasons I'm at the end of November and my total tax this year is £70m compared to £34m for the whole of last season, looking at the graph previously my tax has never been more than about £4m per month until about may 2015 when it suddenly jumped up to £11m which means I'm loosing approximately £8m per month overall This surely cannot be correct has anyone else noticed that there tax has hugely increased? Thom Welch
no one seems to be giving an explanation to why this is happening or if this is a bug
santy001
What were your profits the season before? The larger your profit margin the previous season the higher your tax the following season, it often leads to a see-saw effect where you make a big profit then the tax reduces a lot of your profitability for the next year. Then because profits are low/non-existent the following year you pay less tax and make larger profits again.
eple
My tax has increased every year for five season although I've made a loss in a few of them. Something is definitely not right with it.
randomale
Pretty sure tax is on turnover and not profit? The figures involved do sound fairly large though. Unless you are Amazon, Google or Starbucks!...............maybe you're paying their share???

Thom Welch
It surely can not be right my profit last season was £80m and by November I have already paid £70m in tax last season my tax was between £3m and £6m per month and now it is £11m per month.
